photoKam is a filter camera and photo editor for iPhone that works without an account. Your photos and videos are processed only on your device and are never uploaded. The app sends no information to the operator's servers. There are no ads, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

1. Information handled only on your device

• Camera (camera permission): used for the live filtered preview and for taking photos. Camera frames are processed only on your iPhone and never sent anywhere. Photos you take are saved to the "photoKam" album in Photos as the original plus a filtered copy (you can switch to originals only in Settings). The microphone is not used.
• Photos and videos in your Photos library (photo access): read only on the device to build your library, map and search, and to edit them. Never sent to a server. If you allow "Selected Photos" only, only those photos are read.
• Location stored in photos (EXIF GPS): read only on the device to show where photos were taken on a map. The app does not ask for your current location and does not add location to photos it takes.
• Face and body detection (portrait retouching): computed only on the device by AI models bundled with the app. The results are used only for editing and never leave the device.
• Saving edited photos: photos you save are added as new photos to the "photoKam" album in Photos (add-photos permission). Your original photos are not changed.
• My filters: filters you make from your edits are kept in the app's private storage.
• The photo catalog, edits, ratings, settings and thumbnails are kept in the app's private storage and are removed when you delete the app.

2. Information sent

None. The app does not collect or send usage statistics, diagnostics or device identifiers, and sends nothing to the operator's servers. The AI models are included in the app, so nothing is downloaded.

3. Third-party services

• App Store in-app purchase: purchases and restores of Pro (a one-time purchase) are handled by Apple; the app never receives payment details and only verifies the purchase on the device. Use "Restore Purchases" on your other iPhones with the same Apple Account (the iPad app is a separate purchase). Apple's policy: apple.com/legal/privacy
• Map (Apple Maps): the map screen is drawn with Apple Maps (MapKit). When you open it, map data for the visible area is downloaded from Apple's servers, which receive your IP address and the requested area. 4. Data deletion

We keep no information about you on our servers, so there is nothing to request deletion of. The catalog, edits, settings and thumbnails the app creates on your device are all removed when you delete the app (the original photos in your library and photos you saved to Photos stay). Your Pro purchase record is kept by Apple in your Apple Account. If you have any questions, please contact us below.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
